Church Preparedness Training (“CPT,” “we,” “us”) provides safety team training to churches and houses of worship. This policy explains how we handle information collected through churchpreptraining.com (the “Site”).
Information you give us: when you request an assessment or training, or sign our liability waiver, we collect what you enter, such as your name, church name, city, email address, phone number, team size, the training you are interested in and any message you send. For the waiver, we also collect your emergency contact, your photo and media choice, and your typed signature.
Information collected automatically: like most websites, the Site collects basic technical information such as your browser type, device, pages visited and approximate location. We may use cookies and analytics tools to understand how the Site is used.
Requests and waivers submitted on the Site are sent by email to Tom Fitzgerald and Kirk Henson. We use your information to respond to your request, schedule and deliver training, keep signed waivers on file, and improve the Site. We do not sell your personal information.
We share information only with service providers who help us run the Site and our business, such as our website host and email tools, and only for those purposes. We may also share information if required by law or to protect the rights and safety of CPT, our clients or others.
You can set your browser to refuse cookies or alert you when cookies are being sent. Some parts of the Site may not work as intended without them.
We keep information only as long as needed for the purposes described here, or as required by law.
We use reasonable measures to protect your information. No website or method of transmission is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
The Site is intended for church leaders and adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
You may ask to see, correct or delete the personal information we hold about you by contacting us. California residents may have additional rights under state law, and we will honor requests as required.
The Site may link to other websites. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of those sites.
We may update this policy from time to time. The effective date at the top shows when it was last changed.
